the womanly art of breastfeeding book review
The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding
This book is in it's seventh edition and that says a lot about it. The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding covers issues concerned with
breastfeeding and how to deal with the any obstacles and concerns a mother has while giving their baby the best they can give.
Breastfeeding is an art. If you have never been around nursing moms, then you may not even know how to
hold your baby properly to make nursing easier. This book will teach you that and much more.
This book was exactly what I needed to guide me through something that was new to me. I found from this
book that breastfeeding is something that is full of benefits not only for the baby, but for mom too. It can also have some ups and
downs. Many of these issues can be easily resolved without putting more strain and worry on a new mommy.
This book is full of reliable resources and straight answers to questions that all mothers have when it comes
to breastfeeding. It tells you about the benefits of breastfeeding and how these benefits can last a child’s entire lifetime. It
gives you information on how to prepare yourself for breastfeeding, even before the baby is born.
It has great information on how to increase your milk supply and how to make sure your baby is getting enough
to eat. Finding time for yourself when you have a demanding baby can be very difficult but this book gives you tips on how to do that
without feeling guilty about it. It also gives you some great ideas on how to exercise and be healthy while breastfeeding your
baby.
I am glad I found this book. When my oldest child was born, it was like my Bible! I kept it available at
all times and have read it through more than once.
